+ Haute Couture meets Art and Science Fiction +

For me fashion is a way of expressing myself as a painter expresses himself through his paintings. We sew instead of painting, but it’s the same. It’s art. As a movies and art lover, my designs are highly influenced by them.

I entered University Rey Juan Carlos in 2003 to study Audiovisual Communication, and during this period I worked as a costume designer and production assistant in several audiovisual productions, while I attended to courses in Photography, Drawing, History of Clothing and Textiles, and Costume Design for Movies by Gumersindo Andrés, twice Goya (Spanish Movie Awards) nominated.

After graduating in 2008, I entered the Instituto Europeo di Design to study Fashion Design, and I attended to courses and workshops in Leather Design with Rob Goodwin, Chainmail with Anillarte, T-shirt Illustration Design with illustrator Iván Soldo, Print Design with Suturno,  and Millinery with Justin Smith.

On 2009-2010 course I won the school’s best collection diplomas for my two collections, and in 2010-2011 I received an Honourable Mention for my final project. With this project, I have been finalist for contests as ModaFad, Who’s Next, My Own Show, and Special K. One of my dresses has been featured in Little Black Dress (A & C Black Publishers Ltd), a book from Isabel Sanchez published in five different languages. On september I was included in VOGUE ITALY TALENTS supplement as one of the 180 emergent talents of 2011.

On summer 2010 I joined YONO TAOLA for two months as an intern, and in 2011 I spent another two months as an intern in ALEXANDER MCQUEEN, in London. Right now I'm living in Madrid, where I try to keep designing for my brand while I work as an intern in LOEWE.
